Zacznijmy od początku – Wyspy Kanaryjskie są zbudowane ze skały wulkanicznej.

Przez setki lat wybuchająca, zaschnięta później lawa tworzyła różne, rozmaite kształty i struktury. Później lawę tę przykrył ocean, co dało początek temu podwodnemu życiu.
